THE REGION Situated in a very
rich agricultural region: the Saiss, on the end of a very populated
domain, the Pre-Rif, near to a mountainous chain provider of
water, the one of Middle Atlas, Fez-Boulemane region extends on an
area close to 19795 Km2, or 2.8% of the total area of the country.
It regroups Boulmane and Sefrou's provinces, and also
Fez Jdid-Dar
Dbibagh and Fès-Médina and Zouagha-Moulay Yakoub's prefectures.
This region shelters 15 common urban and 48 common
rural. |

Fez-Booulemane region is limited on the north by Taza-Al-Hoceima-Taounate
region, on the East and South by the Oriental region, on the South-west by Mekhnes-Tafilalet
region and on the North-west by Gharb-Chrarda-Bni Hssen region.
The diversity of natural conditions
offers very varied possibilities to man's activity and also determine
its settlement through the regional space. |
