Tree Day Tour – Fez – Merzouga - Marrakech

Hostelling International Fez is organizing  a fantastic Tree Day Tour of top visitor sites in Morocco, covering the Atlas Mountains and  explore the amazing Moroccan Sahara .

Tour Highlights

Ifran ( an other little village but you fill you are in Switzerland )  enjoy the spectacular  Atlas Mountains , cascades and learn more about Berber culture  before   arriving in Merzouga.

Midelt  , Merzouga ,Tinghir , Ouarzazate , Ait_Benhaddou ; Marrakech

Tour Itinéraire

Day 1

• Departs Fez International Youth hostel early morning .
• Breakfast in Imouzzer , Via a magnificent stretch of the Middle Atlas and winding through the forests  you get to
• Midelt (photo, coffee  stop) former French administrative post in central Morocco .
• Merzouga late afternoon .  Sleep in a  nomad tents and private bivouac in a oasis inside the dunes of    Merzouga - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaa

Activities include: 2 hours camel ride to see the spectacular sunset  and sunrise.

Day 2

• Departs from Merzouga  .
• Tinghir. Exploring one of the biggest Gorge Todra (photo stop, lunch and tea )
• Arriving to Ouarzazate .
• Free time for  visiting museums in Ouarzazate
• Night in a Hotel

Day 3

• Tour departs for Marrakech via:

• Aït Benhaddou:  World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot there .

• Arrives in Marrakech  late afternoon
